loads to 97% and then stops, does this with every video I try to watch. Open Netflix in a browser, works fine. Another metro fail.

I use the Netflix app a lot, but recently its not working correctly. I will click on, it will load up up, but never plays!!! SMH

whereas many people say that windows 8 has its issues, I guess they don't see the potential in this new type of way that the new tablets and laptops are going to function. This is indeed a good productive update that Microsoft has come up with. and I recommend other windows others to be using this version of windows then anything else.

the new update to Netflix has made it slow and force close while watching a movie, I cant use the app so I have to use it online. would like to the new update to be renewed. Thank You.

I love Netflix but this app is terrible, I have to uninstall and reinstall it at least once a day to get the movies to play and even then it sometimes doesn't work. The worst part is the system will only work in app form on my computer so when it doesn't work I can't just pull up the website. :( Poor quality!

After it crashed, I couldn't get Netflix to resume the movie as it played fine for 20+ minutes before I paused it. Shame as it seemed to be a great alternative to browser version of Netflix with the bonus of not needing Silverlight plugin.

This is a quick release for windows 8, clearly it is not done yet, but i'll wait, cos I luv Netflix. Problems: Only works 70% of the time, Subtitles inconsistent, NO FORWARD/REWIND/SKIPPING, only a pause button DX so you have to watch things from beginning to end, Volume bar changes Whole System volume...instead of only itself. Give Netflix some time and they'll iron things out :) right now though...you're best just watching in your local browser. This is obviously a 'quick release', FOR NOW

I like having a dedicated Netflix application. I've been using a Netflix application since it released on the XBOX 360 a few years ago. The experience, though not identical (to the XBOX version), shares Metro/Modern UI design language. In short, it's easy to navigate and a pleasant, stable experience.

IF you have an AMD graphics card, or have Hyper-V installed, or are using a virtual machine, it will not work at all. It has nothing to do with licensing obligations as the browser based player still functions properly.

This Netflix app works just fine on my Surface Pro. No playback problems on any of the movies or tv shows I've watched so far. App is laid out well, responsive and user friendly. I feel bad for the people having issues.

don't know why all you people put Netflix down eather you people don't know what your doing your just like write bad reviews your don't want to pay for faster internet this works great so don't get all these bull reviews don't like it then pay hight cable bill that's more the prob..... than Netflix the cable c.o. is nut pay all that money just to watch tv thays where the prob.... lies cable bill some people cant even watch tv cus the hight price of cable so Netflix helps some people shut up dumb

Constantly freezes up on my Surface. Every 8-10 minutes of a show it freezes and literally takes 4+ minutes to reload at a snails pace. Works great on my Kindle fire and x box, but this is the device I really need for it to be portable on!!!

it was on my computer when I first got it and when I clicked on it, it said that I needed to update I so when I tried to update it, it just got stuck at pending. I wish I could go lower than 1 star

Works on my laptop which I just got today! My Xbox 360 PlayStation every system I have I always get Netflix and it works. Great App....for other people you might not have enough space or just bad luck. Great App :)

I installed and see the tile appear on my desktop. When I click it nothing happens. I have tried rebooting and uninstalling and reinstalling. I dumped Netflix and moved to an app that worked.

Netflix should be FREEZEFLIX...if you love 15-20 minutes of solid uninterrupted programing...this is for you...you enjoy tv that freezes up constantly...give Netflix a try...they will take your 8 bucks...gladly! (The one star I gave Netflix is FROZEN!)
